The Navy Overseas Air Cargo Terminal, operating under NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, collaborates closely with the 730th Air Mobility Command to manage traffic for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and US Coast Guard through both air and surface movements. Our role as liaisons and Air Clearance Authorities entails monitoring and serving as direct point of contact for customers utilizing the 730th AMC aerial port, providing them with cargo movement information, expediting services, and assisting in rerouting shipments. Additionally, we are responsible for maintaining and updating the Fleet Freight Routing in Global Air Transportation Execution System for the USS, USNS, and USCG within our designated area of operations. This alleviates any unnecessary rework downstream for both the 730th and NOACT, ensuring efficient operations and seamless logistical coordination.

As part of the USS Ronald Reagan team during deployments, my responsibilities were crucial in maintaining operational efficiency. I managed inventory, making sure we had enough equipment and supplies readily available. I coordinated supply chains, worked closely with vendors, and tracked deliveries to prevent any delays. Transportation and distribution logistics were also my responsibility, ensuring goods and equipment were moved promptly and securely. I provided support for maintenance and repair activities, playing a part in keeping our assets operational.
