CurrentHIPPY is a program that empowers parents, prepare children for Kindergarten and break isolation and barriers to immigrant families.Responsible to mentor new Home Visitors to assist them to accomplish their goals and excels in their performance.Support Home Visitors to consistently keep track of outcomes to efforts from the families they serve, as well as assist them with their schedule management. Lead weekly training meetings to support Home Visitors in the delivery of curriculum and quality services to families. Also, manage budget to support the logistics of the Group Meetings and other site expenses. Organize and facilitate group meetings for families to break isolation by inviting community speakers such as Dental Hygienist, Nurses, Librarians, and other individuals who provide relevant resources to immigrants. Track and report in the program’s database outcomes and efforts of the families served as well as write a monthly report about program’s development at the site. Outreach and recruit potential participants by connecting with other non-profit organizations, and promoting the program at community events. Provide home visits to a smaller number of families to support a team of three home visitors. Work together with the Hippy Program Coordinator about child and family progress as well as inform family issues and concerns from Home Visitors.
