UI layer used Tapestry 4.0 framework.• Implemented and own several complex areas of this java web application, including role based and instance level security, Google gadgets integration, and customization of fields and pages.• Designed and architected the system’s mobile application. Lead other engineers on feature development for handheld devices used in warehouses, running Windows CE and Windows Mobile 6.0.• Agile development with daily scrums. Navis provides technology solutions across the cargo supply chain.• Implemented a new appointment system used for scheduling container pickup. Integrated the system to an existing legacy java web application.• Quickly learned Java, familiarized myself with the existing architecture of the legacy app, and developed the new system utilizing Html, XSLT, Struts, Oracle SQL database. Demoed and iterated on the frontend UI based on customer feedback.• Implemented a web service API for the new system to allow third party system integration.
