Alongside being a trainee at WRM I also look at new systems available to the legal sector to improve efficiency, develop client relationships and improve marketing. My main focus over the next few months will be the successful implementation of a case management system.

I am currently in my final training seat in our commercial department set to qualify in August.

Change Agents UK developed a new graduate scheme in reaction to some Department of Health funding made available in Autumn 2012. This scheme placed energy graduates across the country and trained them to become household energy assessors. I was given the role of marketing the scheme to potential partners and setting up and maintaining internal communication between the assessors through discussion forums, social media and newsletters outlining the successes of the project.

I worked to help graduates find work within the sustainability sector by encouraging employers to take on short-term project workers to benefit their companies through their specialist experience and enthusiasm in the environment and sustainability. I supported the graduates throughout their projects and afterwards to give them the best careers opportunities possible. I researched, analysed and compiled a Local Climate Impacts Profile (LCLIP) for the district using past climate events to make recommendations for future best practice within the council and its stakeholders.
