About Simon Hobbs
I co-founded and ran a leading digital agency for many years, growing from a three-person business into an international team of 50 full time staff in London and San Francisco (FUSE). Throughout this journey my focus was creating progressive 3D animated content for use in websites and marketing films. Later on I built a “motion” team, developing advanced animated and linear film content for mass consumption via the myriad of emerging social media channels, supporting some of the wider IPG groups most prestigious clients in their B2B and B2C communications, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Magnum, and Stella Artois.Within Arcade my primary role is to ensure a high level of design critique is at the centre of every project, through the application of a rigorous and user-centric approach to design. I oversee the AR content creation, whether 2D or 3D, alongside UX & UI design and the methodologies underpinning the application of these in the new spatial computing world.
