I appreciate the power of well-crafted copy positioning a brand simply but effectively, complemented by good user experience when interacting with the brand through online or offline touchpoints. I believe my varied blend of skills, experience and professional interests in user experience design, placemaking, and public policy will be a good fit for brands looking to solve business problems creatively while meeting diverse user needs. As an arts lover, I have enjoyed connecting the arts to a range of audiences, sparking greater appreciation for homegrown arts and culture both locally and abroad. My track record includes successful PR campaigns that contributed to Singapore's vibrant arts and heritage ecosystem, supporting the growth of professional artists and groups. I had the privilege of leading all domestic and international media publicity for the launch and exhibition of the Singapore Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale, hosting global cultural leaders, arts practitioners and critics. I have driven signature events as part of high-performing teams, such as the re-opening of Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall in July 2014 graced by the Prime Minister of Singapore. Part of this highlight event involved collecting the community’s memories of this well-loved heritage monument, and organising a well-attended opening weekend celebration. My work has also seen me partnering vendors and agencies in brand development and collateral creation for newly created brands. The digital economy and its limitless possibilities enabled by the intersection of finance, technology and consumer power has now inspired me to explore opportunities in the digital space. I’m excited to help organisations and leaders translate their customer-centric solutions into impactful content, while connecting with audiences in meaningful and authentic ways, through the lens of communications, design thinking and UX.Beyond work, I'm passionate about reducing food waste and battling over-consumption. I advocate buying second-hand and only what is needed, and share regularly with my community and neighbourhood. My abiding love for the written word, period CDramas, indie film and music has taken me across the world in search of the perfect festival experience - close but not there yet.
