▪︎ Experienced corporate lawyer and legal counsel in financial sector, with demonstrated positions in industry and supervisory environment ▪︎ I have started my career in the insurance business, with the firm with the international group background, dealing mostly with general legal counselling and compliance issues, in particular as appointed DPO and AMLCO. After passing the State Legal Exam I wanted to see the other side of financial playgrounds, thus starting the position of legal advisor in the Slovenian financial regulator. Working with the Securities Market Agency in the Funds area, I am currently mainly involved in regulatory affairs in the fields of licensing and (on- and off-site) supervision of investments funds and their managers. Expanding my professional knowledge and expertise as a member of Investment Management Standing Committee with ESMA.
