TMM Spa, est la propriétaire de l'usine de dessalement d'eau de mer de Magtaa /Mars El Hadjadj -Oran de capacité de production en eau potable de 500 000 m3/jour , alimentant la Wilaya d'Oran ainsi que les wilayas limitrophe à savoir Mostaganem ,Mascara et Relizane...Le process utilisé est l'ultrafiltration ( Membranes UF) pour la phase prétraitement et l'osmose inverse dans la phase de dessalement ( élimination des sels ) et la phase finale qui est le post traitement qui consiste à une reminéralisation par l'injection de chaux.
