- Led and aided in the design and execution of the actuation and battery systems on Starship- In 5 months my team designed, built and tested the highest power space-capable battery system ever created

- Led the success of all low-flow and high-flow propulsion components on the first commercial spacecraft to send astronauts into orbit and back- Managed all propulsion components teams through a complete propulsion system redesign after the static-fire anomaly, and successfully executed the In-Flight Abort vehicle test in 8 months

- Designed and delivered a critical Raptor engine control component for the Starhopper test vehicle in 4 months which continues to reliably operate on every production Raptor engine- Responsible for the new product introduction of "10 flight reusable" Merlin engine propulsion components

- Led the mechanical and industrial design for the world's first accessible underwater drone- Responsible for all mechanical parts from ideation and design, through manufacture- Worked tightly with cross-functional team to design tightly integrated PCBA and mechanical systems.- Utlizied FEA and CFD to quickly prototype and validate structural and thermal designs - Designed complex structural and waterproof injection molded part assemblies- Crafted and designed user experience through user studies and human centered design practices- Managed manufacturing and QC issues with Chinese supply chain on the ground- Aided the creation of the world's largest robotic ocean sensing network of connected citizen scientists

- Developed a novel haptic display for rendering fingertip slip forces that could be used to improve the performance of telerobotic surgery and virtual reality systems- Created hardware for capturing high-fidelity task demonstrations with multi-modal sensors- Designed interactive tensegrity LED light structures through iterative collaboration and exploration of expression modalities with dancers

Designed, and brought to market Open Source Robotics platforms that easily enable hardware hackers of all levels to engage in robot creation.

Led a group of interdisciplinary engineers and scientists in the development and testing of a novel underwater robotic submersible (MSLED) that was the first to explore and investigate subglacial lakes in Antarctica.

Conducted field robotics research with AUVs and UAVs with Dr. Srikanth Saripalli- Researched optimal sampling strategies for autonomous underwater vehicles - Creation of an underwater autonomous environmental sensing and mapping platform

Conducted a feasibility and concept study of the MSLED (Micro Subglacial Lake Exploration Device), a novel robotic underwater exploration vehicle.-Developed system architecture with interdisciplinary team-Designed and analyzed the mechanical structure and propulsion systemNSF grant #1142123 was awarded as a result of this work for developing the vehicle

Creation of a software tool to remove atmospheric emissivity from THEMIS (Thermal Emission Imaging System) spectrometer data. Developed a data-gradient path planning tool.
