As a Sophomore at the University of Maryland - College Park, I am pursuing a dual major in Business Management and Information Systems. I am also an active member of two student organizations on campus. I serve as a chair on the E-Board for Women's Empowerment Institute (WEI) under the Robert H. Smith School of Business and as the Historian on the E-Board for the Somali Student Association.Last year, I had the opportunity to intern at the Montgomery County Circuit Court, working in the Quality Control department. During the internship, I had the privilege of working under the Administrative Office and the Honorable Judge Bonifant. The experience I gained during the internship has given me valuable skills and knowledge, which I hope to apply in my future endeavors.
