I am a communications expert and strategist with a passion for crafting creative strategies that honour cultural awareness and give a voice to the marginalised. I also specialise in developing long-term strategies centred on equity and justice, building empowered teams, and providing leadership coaching. My career has led me to roles such as the Chief Communications Officer at 350.org and Communications Lead for Greenpeace in the Arab World, as well as serving as the Environment Editor for a leading English online daily in Egypt.At 350.org, I successfully established a global communications team of 30 individuals, working on traditional communications, social media, multimedia, storytelling, and translations. I also trained in digital media through the Intajour Fellowship Program and I incorporate professional management practices from training with Robert Gass and The Management Center. My work also integrates mindfulness techniques inspired by my experiences at Plum Village..Fluent in Arabic, English, and Spanish, I have also contributed to numerous publications as an author. My love for photography has seen my work showcased in both solo and group exhibitions, with a notable exhibition titled 'From Gharb Soheil' promoting environmental preservation in Aswan, Egypt.Born in Kenya and raised in Uruguay and Colombia, I now reside in Cairo. I hold degrees from the American University in Cairo and the London School of Economics and Political Science, where I earned my MSc in International Political Economy.
