My advanced skills in using eTouches (Aventri), the company event management software, has also proven invaluable in my role and to my colleagues.

Developed event registration sites from client brief to completion, managed delegate queries and post-event evaluation. Learned to use a new module of the eTouches platform in a short space of time, which enabled me to successfully take over management of abstract submissions and speakers from another event manager, freeing up company resources.

Chatswood

Coordinated a wide range of event logistics for our calendar of events ranging from smaller professional development events held all around Australia to our annual conference, the largest gathering of fundraising professionals in the southern hemisphere. My achievements include successfully negotiating competitive quotes from suppliers and venues, as well as effectively managing relationships with stakeholders including conference presenters, delegates and committee members. I adapted swiftly to the recent introduction of a new event management platform, to the level where I have trained others in its use and have challenged the software development team to improve on existing features. Used iMIS in this role.

Managed relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers on circulation and production logistics to print, distribute and merchandise 20 magazine titles and corresponding point-of-sale items. My role also included streamlining workplace procedures, training new staff members in the Circulation department and reporting on sales performance and return-on-investment analyses of titles including Donna Hay and delicious.

Project-managed, researched and sub-edited 1,500+ company directory listings for 'The Green Book', which won ‘Best Magazine Supplement’ at the Publishers Australia Bell Awards 2008. Managed external relationships with various stakeholders including advertising clients, suppliers and distributors to coordinate magazine production.
