About Alison Hoffman, Ms, Rd
Hello there! My name is Alison Hoffman and I am a registered dietitian. My passion for inclusive nutrition care led me to pursue a graduate degree in clinical nutrition. I enjoy working with patients to create a sustainable and balanced lifestyle that is free of disordered eating behaviors. Prior to pursuing my masters degree, I worked in a variety of settings including a family practice, urgent care, and in clinical research. Working in these different settings allowed me to grow and develop my interest to become a dietitian. Not only that, but it grew my interest and passion for being an advocate for marginalized communities. I strive to create an inclusive environment for people of all different walks of life. I am an advocate for weight inclusivity, HAES, mental/behavioral health, and equitable nutrition care for all. I do this by utilizing my background in clinical research by staying up to date on current nutrition research and implementing evidence based practices with my patients.
