Stand-in lecturer on “How to develop and implement Corporate Social Responsibility strategies” for a 3rd year Bachelor course at the Technical University Institute of Kourou, French Guiana

At Guyane Innovation Durable (GUID), a financial and strategy consultancy company based in French Guiana, I was responsible for the following areas:1. Fundraising: Composing grant applications to international and national donor organizations:I conceived and composed project proposals for renewable energy projects in French Guiana, Suriname and Guyana, for example the « Amazonia Operational Program » and « ACP Science & Technology » issued by the European Commission. I was responsible for all aspects of the proposal design: research, identification and cooperation with project partners, as well as project budgeting.2. Strategic, financial and policy consultancy for international cooperation projects:I consulted public institutions in Suriname and Guyana on possibilities to attain foreign investment and to promote international cooperation with France and the European Union in the domain of sustainable development. In put in place strategic partnerships between different actors from both the public and private sector to exchange knowhow and best environmental and social practices in the energy, low-impact mining and forestry as well as waste treatment sector. 3. Export promotion and consultancy:I consulted French entrepreneurs on business opportunities in Suriname and Guyana. In this regard I organized business trips and meetings for French entrepreneurs to present their environmental technologies in front of potential clients and partners abroad.Leadership experience: I supervised a team of 3 junior consultants.

One-month internship with ‘SEWA’ to improve the evaluation of the NGO’s projects which is focusing primarily on solar electrification of rural schools and health centers.My responsibilities:- Improving the questionnaire for schools and health centers- Determining indicators to measure the projects’ success and social impact

Research and internship with the Yansa Group (social business and foundation) which is establishing Latin America’s first community wind farm in Latin America.My responsibility was to assess and evaluate the necessities and priorities of community development as well as to suggest indicators for the project’s success and social impact.
