● Marketing Manager for the largest ready mix and concrete block company in the Southeast, which is owned by CEMEX, world’s leading supplier of ready-mix concrete. ● Coordinates with Region President, Vice Presidents, General Managers, and department heads to prepare presentations for CEMEX Executive Management. ● In charge of developing the content and purpose of four websites: ○ www.readymixusa.com○ www.specblockusa.com○ www.hardscapesusa.com○ http://www.cemexusa.com/ProductsServices/BaggedCementMap.aspx● Responsible for creating all print advertisements for trade magazines, sponsorships, and various other print publications for Ready Mix USA. ● Creates graphics and materials for various internal initiatives by Safety and Human Resource departments. ● Performs special projects such as market share and market segmentation research. ● Assists in creating bid proposals for Executive Management to present to potential customers. ● Creates and submits entries for the Excellence in Construction Awards program (premiere competition) through the Alabama Builders and Contractors Association (won 13 consecutive years). ● Accountable for creating and maintaining logo and brand identity for the company throughout the Southeast. ● Key support role to a sales staff of more than 400.● Responsible for outside Marketing promotions, including company events and purchasing promotional items for customers and employees. ● Started with company in 2001 in clerical accounting and then concrete block sales before promotion to Marketing Manager.
