Key Duties:• Leading and motivating Area Managers and Store Managers to improve financial performance through optimising sales and efficiently managing costs.• Create a culture of ownership and accountability through training, recruitment and retention activities.• Work with the National Management on product merchandising, deal creation and plan implementation in order to optimise Crazy John’s competitive offering.• Ensure all stores meet / exceed all operational standards• Lead forecasting / target setting at state level (primarily connections, GP, headcount and operating profit)• Ensure all staff are knowledgeable about all products, plans and operational standards.• Conduct analysis to identify areas of improvement.• Develop strategies and tactics to improve financial performance and implement these strategies and tactics through action plans• Encourage the same behaviour amongst Area Managers and Store Managers• Help identify new locations for stores and help evaluate the renewal of leases for existing stores• Effectively communicate and present to Senior Management and the Board.• Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all Crazy John’s customers, including proper resolution of all customer complaints.• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and processes • Ensure stock is managed in accordance with standards / procedures across the state.
