I develop, coordinate, and implement all communications, marketing, and public relations for the Nebraska Department of Veterans' Affairs. This includes:- working with teams to evaluate communication needs and develop marketing strategies- disseminating information to the press and responding to media inquiries- producing content, including videos, photos, digital content, and print materials such as brochures, posters, banners, invitations, etc.- writing ad and editorial copy, speeches, press releases, and more - maintaining, updating, and improving the agency's website- managing and growing our agency's social media accounts - handling statewide media buys for print, radio, TV, and digital ads- tracking and reporting on analytics, KPIs, and other CRM data- planning and executing special events and ceremonies, such as proclamation signings, award ceremonies, commemorations, and other events as needed
