• Executed analysis of commodities hedge funds by speaking with PMs, performing statistical analysis, and volatility analysis. Carried out macroeconomic research to determine the risk and correlation of select commodities such as energy, agriculture, and metals• Performed due diligence on a French consumer staples company through DCF modeling, valuation multiples, and trading comps. Tasked with determining whether the company was a turnaround candidate and if the new management team was capable• Served as lead analyst for a multi-million-dollar mezzanine credit real estate co-investment deal for a building in Battery Park NYC. Implemented sensitivity models and stress-tested them to determine if the deal would meet certain IRR targets, which it did not

• Researched policy and laws of neighboring states to analyze their bail system and compared other states with Texas to see where the improvement could be. Helped develop a bill to create a stepped leveling system to make the bail bond process more fair• Met with political leaders and constituents on key issues to be addressed in the Texas Bail Reform bill to ascertain their opinions and amend the bill as needed. The bail reform bill ended up being voted on and passed and was eventually signed into law• Constructed analysis of economic development and regulation of the Oil & Gas industry relating to pollution through meetings with local energy executives and conservation experts, reviewing economic development plans, and securing political partnerships
