Timeshare CMO is a marketing agency focused on SEO, analytics, and content creation for Bay Area startups. In this role I managed editorial workflows, coordinated freelance writing teams, SEO content for clients that included Trifacta and larger firms including Netflix DVD. I also developed greenfield brand strategy for data visualization startup Mareana based on interviews with founders, customers, and prospects.

Page Ventures is my private consulting practice offering content, copywriting, and community management services. As a freelancer I wrote site content for TechdotMN, TheNextWeb, Buffer Blog, Kynetx, and more. I also installed 50+ WordPress sites for various clients (using WordPress multi-site) and developed content plans for several clients. I was fortunate to be able to present at the sold out “PR for Startups” event at CoCo Coworking Minneapolis with tech journalist Yael Grauer.

Lawyerist is a publication focused on guiding solo and small firm lawyers to build future-focused law firms leveraging new technology. During my tenure I onboarded and managed a team of 20+ writers consisting of practicing attorneys across the US. I was responsible for editing three long-form pieces weekly. I also implemented editorial workflows in Slack, Teamwork, and Edit Flow to ensure delivery of long-form pieces in advance of publication.

Logical Position is a national Google AdWords agency and one of 30 Google premier partners, serving clients that included 24-Hour Fitness, Berkshire Hathaway, and Princeton University. Here I worked with their executive team to write a mission statement and cultural values from scratch. I also built their training program for all new sales employees.

As a consultant I developed compelling sales copy for email campaigns and other direct marketing campaigns. This included product research, data analysis for competitive search marketing research, and some AdWords optimization and SEO work. I also managed the content calendar for Cazarin sites and blogs.

This was a consulting role to manage social media apps Strawberryj.am and Aces Hangout, including maintaining all social media profiles and serving as first contact for all customer support requests. My work including building a list of press contacts and relationships, resulting in coverage on TechCrunch, Mashable, and Read/Write (formerly ReadWriteWeb) that led to 3K new users. I also developed and maintained partnerships with Google and Buffer to enhance the impact of social media strategies.

TechGeist is when I confirmed I loved blogging at sixteen years old. It was started with three online friends and we grew it to 50K hits in four months, gaining links from nearly all major tech blogs and featured on TechMeme as headlines regularly. We eventually disbanded as the attention that TechGeist got us led to better opportunities for each member of the founding group.
