As NPD team lead, responsible for ensuring that all development and process improvement briefs are completed in full and adhere to critical paths, via close cross-functional interaction with all departments.Well versed in all forms of projects from concept to launch/completion and experienced in the targeted development of team members.

My role straddled three main functional areas (QRO, Production and Purchasing) and provides raw material technical expertise in a Quality Engineering capacity to drive Zero Loss whilst actively leading food safety. In addition to this, I also maintained close working relationships with R&D and administration roles. Main responsibilities included providing platform expertise on key ingredient categories, supporting CI and Phase Progression, and supporting Food safety and Regulatory Compliance. I am fully-versed in a variety of process systems and statistical techniques such as Six Sigma, MQIS, Phoenix, SAP, Nutricalc and Interspec.

Actively involved in new product development, from concept generation to product launch.Experience of leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.My other duties include providing technical support to business needs and supporting product improvement and HMM projects.

Creation of flavour and fragrance ingredients tailored to global customers, including aroma chemicals, essential oils, natural extracts and distillates.Creation of novel fragrances and odour matches, as well as scale-up from lab to plant, supervising product trials.

An ICI-funded SRF project involving the preparation and characterisation of a series of novel glycosylated polymers.These included homopolymers, block and random copolymers, and their associated solution properties.
