Als Kommandant mit dem Dienstgrad Major führe ich die militärische Einheit Lufttransportumschlag mit 66 hoch qualifizierten Mitarbeitern in nationalen und internationalen Operationen. Diese Einheit ist die Einzige ihrer Art im österreichischen Bundesheer mit dem Auftrag: in Zusammenarbeit mit den Luftfahrzeugbetreibern und Bedarfsträgern den Luftumschlag im nationalen und internationalen Rahmen mit Cargo, Passagieren und Gefahrgut zu gewährleisten.Neben meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit widme ich mich mit großem Interesse der Fortbildung in den Bereichen Automatisierung via smarten Lösungen, logistische Abläufe im Luft-/Land-/Seetransport sowie Lagerlogistik und Industrie 4.0. Besonders fasziniert mich die Industrie 5.0 – die Zusammenarbeit von Menschen, KI und Robotik.As a commander with the rank of Major, I lead the military air terminal operation unit with 66 highly qualified personnel in national and international operations. This unit is unique within the Austrian Armed Forces, tasked with ensuring air transport handling of cargo, passengers, and hazardous materials in collaboration with aircraft operators and stakeholders, both nationally and internationally.In addition to my professional duties, I have a keen interest in further education in the areas of automation through smart solutions, logistical processes in air, land, and sea transport, as well as warehouse logistics and Industry 4.0. I am particularly fascinated by Industry 5.0 – the collaboration of humans, AI, and robotics.
