Material Characterization
CurrentMaterial Characterization- material characterization with a focus on micromechanics (mechanical properties; failure analysis, covering both R&D and quality/reliability related topics- SEM/EDS/ EBSD failure analysis and material characterization- supporting customers with investigation on devices utilizing various technologies and designed for a wide range of applications (power management, sensors, etc.)- method expertise and custom method development for micro-mechanical testing ( focus on thin film, MEMS and testing compliant materials e.g. adhesive films for dicing and grinding)- Raman microscopy method development for assessing cavity partial gas pressures and intrinsic mechanical stresses; collaboration with internal and external partners within innovation project- Co-advisor for internal PhD student, researching on Raman stress-characterization - supporting several bachelor-, master and PhD thesis projects- managing sub-work package for European funded project (SAM3)- training colleagues- Participation and work package coordination for internal knowledge management project - Confluence knowledge share on micromechanics
