My focus has always been in the medical field. I started as a Medical Assistant in 2008 worked for about two and a half years in an OB-GYN, a Pediatrician, and a Family Doctors practice. I transferred to CHOC from July 2011 to present. Here at CHOC I have served the pediatric population in most of the specialty clinics like Pulmonary, GI, Hematology, Endocrine, Rheumatology, Cranio-facial, among other clinics. When I received my RN licence I worked as a home health nurse for about two years, I also worked at AGMG as a GI Nurse for about three year. This opened doors for me to become a Clinical Nurse II in CHOC procedure Center. Here I manage and circulate in GI procedures, lumbar punctures, bone marrows, PICC line placement, Dental cases, kidney and liver biopsies, and bronchoscopies. I am currently working as a circulator as well in OR in ENT, Urology, Plastic, and General surgeries. I love my job but I am seeking an opportunity for a part time or per diem job that will help enhance my knowledge and improve my nursing skills. I am able to implement EBP and research to deliver high level nursing care and advance the quality outcomes of patients. I consider myself friendly, loving, caring, and a great team player. I always seek opportunities for improvement and advancement in order to provide higher quality patient and family centered healthcare. I strongly believe that I have the skills, education, and experience that you require for an RN position in your organization. I am a fast learner and eager to learn new skills. I am very organized. A hard working person who you can count on getting the job done. I always do my best for the healthcare and well being of others. I am very friendly and a great team player.
