I've always been fascinated with writing, language, marine biology, and anthropology. I’m big into self-learning and love acquiring new skills and hobbies whenever I have the time, from knitting and coding to learning yet another language. More than anything else, however, I’m incredibly passionate about sustainability and conservation, as well as traveling and getting to experience a wealth of different cultures. As such, I figured global business would be a great career field for me, as it would allow me to cultivate international connections and study international markets and cultural trends while also offering me the experience and flexibility to find work in more specialized areas like technical writing and translating within the global business sector. I’m currently studying at the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida, where I’ve managed to make the dean’s list every semester, and maintain a 4.0 GPA. Under USF, I’m also a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success, whose broadcasts and meetings I’ve enjoyed attending. I’ve also been invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society (OΔK), and the Alpha Tier of SALUTE through USF as well. When it comes to my education I’ve often been described as incredibly driven and ambitious, and I plan to do all I can to excel academically, joining honors societies that I believe will best distinguish and prepare me for my future career, and applying for scholarships that will allow me to study abroad and participate in other worthwhile summer programs such as USF’s Global Tech Experience.So far, I’ve gained some brief but valuable experience within the overlapping tech and business fields after obtaining a summer internship position at Crest Security Assurance from June to August of 2022, where I applied most if not all of my current hard and soft skills:Soft Skills• strong critical thinking and problem solving skills• strong emotional intelligence skills• ability to learn and adapt quickly• efficient in team settingsHard Skills• strong writing and nonverbal communication skills• strong research skills• proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Word• experience with social media content creationI'm currently starting a new position at Fusion Pulse LLC as a social media coordinator and potential human resources manager, where I hope to utilize my writing, research, emotional intelligence, and communication skills while I gain more experience in the business industry.
