Below is an overview of key highlights: Success through Advising: As the main College Advisor for 300+ students in the program, we achieved a minimum of 95% college enrollment for the first 5 graduating cohorts of students Developed College Planning Best Practices: I designed and led a 3-year spiraling curriculum on college planning to 300+ program scholars. The curriculum was designed to build a knowledge base and engagement model for students and their parents on the college admission process.

In this role I was dually responsible for the prospect to enrollment process for 350+ students while building and deploying campaigns to increase the number of students with diverse backgrounds at the college. accomplishment highlights include: Exceeding Enrollment Expectations: With a budget of $30K I enhanced recruitment programs, as well as, implemented new strategic plans to engage diverse students including but not limited to a university “fly-in” program. These efforts resulted in an increase of students from diverse backgrounds and a 40% increase in yield rates for the ALANA population. (Asian, Latino/a, African-American, and Native American) Cross-Organizational Leadership: For the strategic recruitment plans to be effective in driving enrollment number up I collaborated with the marketing team to create comprehensive communication strategies including: programming events, branding, development and design of marketing collaterals, and developing creative distribution methods. With my internal staff of 25+ I facilitated trainings and workshops on diversity recruitment, communication development, and team building skills Leading Retention Efforts: As a member of the University’s Diversity Council we managed a budget of $250K used to engage the entire campus community in developing cutting edge diversity proposals to impact the campus community.
