I graduated in 2013 earning my degree in Sociology - to where I entered the maze of healthcare, earning a spot on the board of advisors supporting Women in Leadership (VUNWI). I engage in assorted fields of study, received an academic and athletic scholarship, & additional certifications I carry with me (listing earliest to most recent) that include: MA(Medical Assisting), CNA, PBT(Phlebotomy) accredited through ASPC; CRC certified in Risk Adjustment & additionally certified in NLP (Natural Language Processing) AI in Healthcare, which I earned through our nations highly accredited coding organization AAPC(membership); Adding a mix of knowledge, granted, by shadowing physical therapists at ATI Physical Therapy, studying business administration and healthcare leadership, to most recently continuing my education studying to earn my RN/LNC (Legal Nurse Consulting) license. I hold specific knowledge surrounding CMS programs that include but are not limited to: chronic care management (CCM), behavioral health integrations (BHI), principal care management (PCM), remote patient monitoring (RPM), and transitional care management (TCM). More so, I'm involved with my community serving as a member of Just Transition Northwest Indiana, a national environmental justice organization(non-profit) holding those accountable for the destruction of our air, water, and soil. Believe it or not, I also began scratching the surface in home owner insurance and public adjusting, where I provide insurance claim consultations to my immediate area effected by storm damage.
