Katanga Province, Democratic Republic Of Congo

Working on Copperbelt mineralisation, this position required me to travel between 3 ENRC projects ranging from large mine set ups to small exploration camps of 20-30 people, this allowed me to gain a much broader range of experience while I was here. My duties often changed and I was actively involved in RC and Diamond drilling, exploration, soil sampling, and trenching. This involved supervising teams, logging, sampling, data collection, QA/QC, plotting results and interpretation, including the use of acQuire, Surpac and Mapinfo.

Skaergaard, Greenland

Part of the Skaergaard platinum, palladium and gold drilling project. Living in a remote camp of 20 people, in East Greenland. My principle responsibilities were logging, cutting and sampling core; surveying drill holes, along with some rare earth exploration and general duties within a remote camp.This experience also allowed me to develop skills, particularly team work, and to learn new techniques such as helicopter operations, firearms training, and QA/QC.
