I am the Senior Director of Equity and Opportunity and Equity Officer for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. I joined the airport in 2013, and in 2018 was appointed as the airport’s first Diversity Officer and joined the executive team in 2020. In this newly expanded role, I partner with leadership to promote equity and equality in airport operations, processes, and systems, working to ensure all passengers, visitors, vendors, and employees are met with respect and feel both welcome and included. I currently serve on the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council, the Indianapolis-Marion County Building Authority Board of Trustees, the Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis Board, the Indiana STEM Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, and volunteer as a facilitator for the Center for Leadership Development.“My philosophy is to lead with my heart being humble, ethical, accountable, responsible, and transparent.
