I worked from 1985 to 1990 as a memeber of a special squad put to together to handle large crowds in the Montrose area of Houston,Texas on weekends. I was assigned to a Houston Police Department Storefront in that same area in 1990 working as a liason between the police and the community until 2001. At that time I transferred to the Fondren Division and worked night shift until obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Business Management fron Texas Southern University in 2003. I transferred to the Bicycle Patrol at Fondren Division and worked there until it was disbanded due to manpower shortage. I presently work in the patrol function at Fondren Division and are dispatched to handle all types of calls for the police. I assist school police officers with security needs at high school campus

i coordinated the police officers working the various locations in the Houston area. I conducted crime prevention meeting with the various managers to reduce theft and loss at stores

I meet with various civic clubs and groups and organize activities between the community.
