I worked as an intern at Hybrid Limited in Hong Kong during the summer of 2022. My key role was serving as the lead researcher for a medium-scale bilingual exhibition. I gained valuable experience in a design studio environment, contributing significantly to writing and research. I ensured tight deadlines were met by working closely with members of the staff on this project. I conducted in-depth research and was responsible for organizing vast amounts of information, editing and re-writing content to fit the tone of the exhibition, and completing fact checks. I also collaborated creatively with team members by providing ideas to develop the project’s theme and messaging. During my time at Hybrid, I discovered a passion for research and writing, particularly in collating information and finding connections in seemingly disparate details. In this project, I demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills at a native level in both Cantonese and English, which enabled me to relay information clearly and coherently in a multilingual, multicultural office setting.
