Currently working as QMUNITY's Education Program Coordinator wherein I expanded the program from a PowerPoint presentation to 3 online courses, 7 discussion/learning circle workshops informed by cultural humility and restorative justice, and a malleable interactive and intersectional presentation. I am experienced in administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties thanks to my positions as a chair, secretary, and treasurer in a variety of small nonprofits and independent unions in Canada. As an educator, I have six years of experience teaching undergraduates and adult learners in EDI, criminology, law, research methods, and restorative justice. In December 2022, I completed my Master's in Criminology at Simon Fraser University, investigating subjects related to violent extremism (ethnopolitical and leftist), restorative justice, and qualitative research. Projects I've worked on have been funded by the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office, the National Science Foundation, and the Food and Drug Administration.
