• Lead the collaborative work of Care Share Health Alliance, the NC Navigator Consortium and the NC Community Health Center Association to increase awareness and understanding of Medicaid Expansion. • Hold regular partner engagement and planning sessions• Provide education to NC navigators, enrollment assisters and community-based organizations through in-person and webinar-based trainings. • Provide additional assistance to help individual navigators, enrollment assisters and community-based organizations understand eligibility and enrollment requirements for Medicaid Expansion. • Provide supplemental communication about Medicaid Expansion to targeted underserved communities.

• Assist in managing daily efforts for the Premium and Co-payment Assistance Program (PCAP), a sub-program of the HIV/AIDS Medication Assistance Program, which enrolls over 1,000 North Carolinians in Healthcare.gov plans each year.• Collaborate with the PCAP coordinator to disseminate PCAP communications and materials to NCDHHS, Case Managers, and a team of 50+ PCAP Navigators.

• Facilitate enrollment in Qualified Health Plans on Healthcare.gov via application assistance, health insurance literacy, and provision of information regarding financial assistance programs like Cost-Sharing Reductions and Premium Tax Credits• Conduct outreach to identify uninsured and underinsured individuals in a rural, seven-county region, educating consumers about the coverage options available to them under the Affordable Care Act• Convene bi-monthly coalition meetings of 10+ community organizations to share resources and collaborate to meet the healthcare needs of the High Country region during public health shifts like Medicaid Unwinding and Medicaid Expansion
