Jonghong Jeon has been working for ETRI since 1999. He received his B.S. and M.S. in computer engineering from Hallym University in 1994, in 1996. He joined ETRI in 1999 and started work in the Protocol Engineering Center to develop the technology and standards for Next Generation Web Technology in 2003. He also has been actively involving in the various international and domestic standardization activities including the following activities: - worked within W3C since 1994 to develop the standards for Future Web (HTML5, Web Application, and Web of Things, etc.)- worked within ITU-T since 2005 to develop the web-based convergence service standard in the NGN environment- worked within OMA since 2010 to develop the Contents delivery technology in Mobile - working within OCF since 2015 to develop the OCF healthcare IoT standards and acting the role of a co-editor - working within ISO/IEC JTC1 SC41 and IEC TC124 since 2016 to develop IoT and Wearable standards and in charge of IEC 62304-402-2 project leader and editor since 2019 - working within ISO/IEC JTC1 WG 12 since 2018 for developing ISO/IEC 3532-2 (medical image-based modeling - AI-based segmentation) and in charge of a project leader and editor He is also participating in the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC 42, ITU-T/WHO FG-AI4H(Focus group on AI for Health) and DICOM.Regarding domestic standardization activity in Korea, also, he was developed and published many national standards.
