One of my first memories from school was at parents evening when all the teacher would relay to my parents that I was a "chatterbox" and wherever they would move me in the classroom I would always be heard! Throughout the vast majority of my life I have always loved surrounding myself with people and have loved communicating with different people at different given times and this is a passion I wish to continue with into my future endeavours.Hard work, determination and my passion for working for others is key when defining who I am as an individual. I have had many incredible opportunities and experiences to work with other people which has developed my love for a people centered career. Volunteering with children who have special needs and need provision , placements at the Leeds General Infirmary on different wards, and even working alongside my peers and becoming the club captain of the dance team at Leeds Beckett University which I really enjoy. Studying criminology at Leeds Beckett University has put into perspective the endless opportunity my degree gives me in terms of future employment in the sector of people and the community and to make beneficial changes within society. Along the way I have learnt so much not only about what we know as a society about crime and criminological theories but I have learnt a lot about myself also which excites me to be able to use this in future employment.
