I assist my client, who has a developmental disability, by fostering their independence through task completion, going out into the community, developing new skills, transporting them to their job, etc. I operate using their personalized goal plan or a daily list during every shift and I monitor whether or not they complete the tasks mentioned there. I was responsible for redesigning the graphics, packaging, cards, booklet, and other material belonging to a card game. This role also expanded to a dice game, in which I designed the packaging, rules sheet, scorepad, and other graphics. I also filmed, narrated, and put Kickstarter campaign videos together using Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion. I started by using the Adobe Creative Suite, but then switched over to the Serif Affinity Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Apple Motion.

As a receptionist, I scheduled appointments, conducted transactions for treatments and products, did data entry of client information, and performed opening and closing of the office. I corresponded with clients over the phone, through our texting service, and in person in order to schedule appointments and answer any questions they may have had. I occasionally helped discover new software and other methods to make operations more streamlined, and I communicated with the support team at these software companies in order to resolve issues and ask about/suggest features. I was also responsible for designing informational product and sale ads under direction of the owner using Canva and images supplied to me; these were sent out through our texting program. In summer 2021, I started the training of my replacement.Start date: Feb. 9, 2020End date: Sept. 2, 2021
