I am back in my happy place at the Boston Design Center, catering to the talented interior design professionals in this territory. I am using my extensive sales experience to assist with selections and purchases of fabrics, wall coverings, trims and lighting.

As the new regional sales representative for Planum Furniture, I will be selling directly to the interior design trade. A fine furniture collection from around the world, Planum combines form and function with quality and versatility. The collection features casegoods, wall systems, fine leather and upholstery.

Sales in high end home furnishings showroom to the design trade only. Consulting with designers and making suggestions for their projects. Designing custom furniture in collaboration with the designer and the manufacturer. Sales from start to finish, including self marketing by attending design industry and design networking events. Other responsibilities include expediting, tracing shipments and problem solving when needed. Managing customer service prior to delivery and after the fact as well.

I enjoyed consulting with designers on their projects as well as custom designing furniture. Established strong relationships with trade professionals. Was called upon to train new sales people. Attending many training seminars including sales, personality profiling, negotiating, and client management.Was top producer in sales for company for many consecutive years.

Started as receptionist and sales assistant. Quickly promoted into sales. Built business, cultivated established accounts.. Attended High Point Market and was involved in merchandising decisions. Rose to be top producer for the company. Prmoted to Vice President of Sales.Trained and oversaw sales staff. Involved in employment decisions of staff.Kaplan & Fox was sold to Masco in 1991 and became a corporate division of Robert Allen fabrics. I was retained in sales with the new Company, Beacon Hill Robert Allen.

Hired as sales trainee and also assisted in customer service.
