-Be the point of contact and general correspondent for the public and partnership organizations. -Advance the development of Mesa Conservation District programs.-Organize and facilitate Annual District and Local Work Group meetings.-Work with other conservation districts to organize watershed-level activities.-Compile and distribute district information electronically via website, email, and social media.-Solicit and undertake fundraising for district programs and activities.-Manage producer engagement and follow-up for the Colorado Soil Health Program.-Develop, design, and secure funding for the Mesa/Delta Colorado Master Irrigator Program.

-Creation of Matrix Research Institute to explore novel solutions to complex problems surrounding agriculture and natural resources for the greater good of humanity. -Working with CSU and Ohio State University our examination into the efficacy of our novel biochar injection method on water conservation, VWC, crop yield, and biochemical parameters, is being utilized to inform the carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas accounting modeling tool COMET. -Facilitated the agricultural field application process of biochar injection into the soil of selected treatment field plots measuring 46 x 196 ft. -Maintenance, program, and installation of 36 Cambell Scientific sensors, 12 dataloggers, 12 HOBO data loggers, and 1 radio communication system. -Obtain soil samples and document results throughout the experimental study.-Examine water holding capacity by performing harvested crop yield weight and production analyses.-Conduct specimen & data collection, field observations, biomass monitoring, SPAD evaluation, soil compaction analysis, infiltration rate comparison, GreenSeeker analyses, and documented results using a cloud-stored data set.-Compiled & performed statistical analyses of data to produce a poster, technical report, & present result findings.

-This program afforded me a unique one-on-one learning opportunity by pairing me with a Colorado Water Law professional who would be my mentor throughout the fellowship. -Meeting with my mentor during the program enabled me to learn and share in his vast knowledge, insight, and network of Colorado's Water Law and industry practices. -Participation in the program included contribution to the Upper Colorado River Basin Water Forum. -Deliverables for culmination and graduation from the program centered around a mentorship-specific learning project and presentation focusing on Colorado Water Law, Colorado River Compact, and strategies for water use in the face of a drought driven by climate change.

-Coordinating the development and implementation of activities between the Upper Colorado River Basin water community and students.-Collaborated on a team that organized and executed the 12th Annual Upper Colorado River Basin Water Forum. -Worked to build awareness, educate, and continue to engage the community through the use of social media.-Designed and maintained the Water Center website. -Creation and facilitation of a career fair and networking event between 20 local water-conscientious businesses and over 80 CMU students. Allowing students the chance to learn about local prospective water research, internships, careers, and volunteer opportunities. -Work with the local water community to expand and facilitate a CMU student water field day focused on diversity and inclusion amongst the student body. -Preparing and providing a content presentation and video for Broadway Elementary School's 4th-grade Public Based Learning cycle, on Drought and the Colorado River. -Performed day-to-day office operations, including data entry and archive, finance accounting duties, and stakeholder communications.

-Exploration in and demonstration of effective grant writing abilities which secured funding, allowing me to perform the 2022 Water Center Student Water Research investigation.-Examination of the efficacy of contaminant removal and demonstration of water conservation capabilities within a hydroponic graywater green wall system that utilized Colorado native plants. -Construction and implementation of extensive experimental design over the course of 8 months.-Data collection, interpretation, and analysis of 12 chemical parameters and over 500 chemical specimens.

-Worked under Senator Chris Hansen and Senator Bob Rankin-Crafted effective policy that is grounded in science and engineering, specifically drafting legislation that promotes the capture and utilization of biomethane a renewable natural gas as a renewable natural resource. -Presented findings and final draft of the legislation and surrounding research to the Department of Public Health and Environment, the Director of Utilities of the City of Grand Junction, the Portfolio Manager as well as the Environmental Products Trader of Colorado Springs Utilities, in addition to several professors at Colorado Mesa University and Colorado State Legislators.-Helped to increase the presence of individuals in public policy that come from the Colorado Western Slope and those that have an environmental science background with a focus on assisting in the development of the next generation of policy and science leaders in Colorado and beyond.
