I assist in the support and development of the University’s SAP ERP system, focusing primarily, but not exclusively, on the finance and sales areas, and also the University’s e-purchasing and purchasing cards systems. My duties include:• System configuration and testing in finance and sales• Level 1 and 2 helpdesk support in all areas• User management in all systems• Development and delivery of end-user training materials• System testing during patching and upgrade projects• Creation and maintenance of system and process documentationI have also been involved in the University’s SAP-related UX projects, working primarily with SAP Screen Personas and the Design Thinking process to improve the usability of the systems for our users. As part of this work I have helped organise a Personas Training Day at the University, and will co-present a Personas hands-on workshop at the UK SAP User Group conference.

In my role as Senior Finance Assistant – Stock Control it was my responsibility to Co-ordinate inventory management activities within Cafés, Bars & Restaurants (CBR) and Conference Park and Events (CPE) for both quarterly and rolling stock takes.I also had to provide analysis and investigate any stock losses or negative stocks and identify any remedial actions to be taken. This was done by developing a suite of KPI reports for senior management. Regular suggestions process improvements and new financial controls were made to key stakeholders.Another key area was to develop the roles and responsibilities of the two Finance Assistants working with the stock control area.

My role was to audit Warwick Hospitality’s retail, Delivered Catering and Conference Park Income and prepare a weekly income report. To raise all sales orders for catering outlets, Reception and Conference Park, then to reconcile to the accounting system on a weekly basis.
