About Holly Hinton

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with over ten years of experience in providing specialized nursing care to diverse patient populations. I currently work at First Step's Nursing and Therapy Services, where I deliver quality care to pediatric patients in their homes. I am passionate about helping children and their families with their health needs and challenges, and I am certified as a BLS Provider.Prior to joining First Step's, I served in the US Army for 18 years, both as a combat medic and a licensed practical nurse. I deployed to Iraq three times and worked in various leadership and operational positions. I gained valuable skills and knowledge in emergency, inpatient, and cardiac nursing, as well as in managing personnel and equipment. I recently graduated from Galen College of Nursing's LPN to ADN bridge program, and I am pursuing a career as a trauma nurse. My mission is to apply my military and nursing experience to save lives and improve outcomes in critical situations.
