Hello, I'm Holly Hoad, a proud Wiradjuri woman from Dubbo, NSW. I am dedicated to empowering First Nations youth, particularly young women, to achieve their career goals through study or access to industry.As a First Nations Project Officer for the Indigenous Women STEM & Entrepreneurship Pathways Project, I am committed to overseeing Awareness and Inspiration pathways for young First Nations women in secondary school, specifically those in years 9-12. This transformative program aims to foster awareness of career opportunities within the Native Ag and Food industry, encouraging and guiding these young women toward fulfilling careers. I am passionate about connecting students to cultural knowledge and community, creating valuable pathways and highlighting tertiary or entrepreneurial options.With over a decade of experience at Charles Sturt University, I have been actively involved in supporting students through their tertiary education journey. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Studies from Charles Sturt University, and I am currently working towards postgraduate studies fueled by my deep passion for research. Additionally, I proudly serve as the Director of Marradhali Aboriginal Corporation, where I contribute to connecting Indigenous people to community, culture, and language. Through my various roles, I strive to make a meaningful impact by fostering education, empowerment, and cultural preservation within Indigenous communities.
