As the Head of Delivery within the Police and Public Protection Technology portfolio, I am accountable for setting the strategic direction for delivery of all projects that fall within our remit, ensuring they are run in a way conducive with the agreed Agile standards. I am currently accountable for the implementation of Product Centric ways of working across the whole portfolio. My main responsibilities include:  Supporting the wider portfolio in the implementation of Product Centricity, including the development of Product Centric capabilities, Agile ways of working, continuous improvement and the exploitation of new and emerging industry techniques and approaches Coaching areas of the organisation on Agile methodologies, product centric ways of working, and change management, with a focus on people Monitoring, measuring, and observing my teams delivering across projects, supporting appropriate performance and approaches to ensure effective outcomes Identifying and implementing appropriate governance mechanisms to support complex delivery, actively managing RAIDs across multiple delivery teams, and acting as the final escalation point for risks or issues raised by those teams Owning relationships and engagements with all key senior stakeholders across the business, influencing the right business outcomes and maintaining effective and positive connections

Accountable for the delivery management across the CDD team; leading our teams and delivery managers in the direction & delivery of multiple Agile projects within a user centred environment and ensuring delivery of projects to time and budget.

LV= tomorrow was an exciting new innovation lab backed by LV=. As one of the UK’s leading financial services provider, and a mutual, LV= tasked a small number of us with re-imagining insurance to create great new customer propositions and digital solutions, strategising on a different way of working through adopting Agile methodologies within a product centred approach. As the Agile Prog Delivery Manager of LV= tomorrow, I led on the delivery of all big digital initiatives, coaching others in using a variety of methods within an Agile way of working and setting standards across the business for this. I ensured that our projects were delivered within agreed timely and budgetary objectives, communicating and interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that works were completed.On a daily basis I worked with senior leaders, delivery managers and tech team leads to ensure business objectives were met, helping with best practice, managing the wider business change, potential solutions and related implementation ensuring the jobs were complete effectively. I also worked with wider Architecture teams across all aspects of delivery, helping to drive agile and related best practice methodology for the project at hand to ensure successful delivery.

Following the launch of our company Blueprint, I took on the responsibility of drawing up the first iteration of the 3 year plan for our Life business supporting our Protection MD. This included sustainability and the financials along with the LV= brand. As the EA to our company CEO, I supported in the day to day administration of the company, including preparing papers and presentations for the Board and Executive Committee meetings. Most notable achievement is helping to shape and launch the LV Blueprint - our new mission, vision and values across the company. While supporting our Life Risk team, my main objective within this role was to design and create an interactive online toolkit to help support our Life business in the control of risk within different areas. While supporting our Direct Protection Proposition in a product management role, I managed our direct Protection products, including their maintenance as well as all controls.[Handpicked as one of four individuals within LV to be supported and endorsed through our Leadership Development Program, I worked within areas of the business on a rotation basis. ]

Managing a team of 10 customer service representatives as well as a number of technical support members, I was responsible for the service delivery on our Equity Release product from new business through the life of a policy. Involved in a number of initiatives to help continue to improve our proposition and map out an exceptional customer journey, including the acquisition of external funding and partnership with a large third party corporation.

Managing up to 20 customer service representatives, looking after our operational service for our annuities new business proposition. This included the smooth launch of LV=s 1 year PRP product in response to the 2014 budget announcement.
