Member of Commercial Litigation/Financial Services practice group. Represent financial institutions in claimsarising from origination, servicing, and foreclosure of secured instruments in both state and federal courts. Negotiateand prepare settlement agreements, develop litigation and settlement strategy, attend mediations, draft pleadings, discovery motions, demurrers, and motions to dismiss, and prepare for trial. Responsible for own case load and extensive interaction with clients, pro per litigants, and opposing counsel.

Worked closely with two attorneys in business litigation. Drafted documents for all phases of both state and federal litigation. Practice includes motion work and discovery.

Drafted court documents for commercial disputes in all stages of litigation, wrote website articles based on recent cases, and assisted in day-to-day management of small law firm.

Researched and drafted memoranda of law, briefs and pleadings for copyright, trademark and commercial litigation cases. Worked in a team environment to coordinate management of case load.

Communicated with U.S. customers to understand the benefits and logistics of educational travel. Directed sales and marketing efforts targeting schools and teachers not currently traveling with EF. Conducted quality control of Italian tours and coordinated these efforts working from both the Rome and Boston offices in order to increase EF's market share.

Researched, edited and reviewed articles for website and other media sources. Worked closely with Political Action Committee to increase its influence and effectiveness in the 2004 Presidential Election. Attended panels on international institution reform to increase my knowledge of international affairs.
