Product strategy & development; budget management; account management of corporates, major donors and volunteers; engaging fundraisers; managing volunteers before and during events.Key projectsCharity Concierge - taking 100 volunteers to various festivals, working with key stakeholders Live Nation & various event departments. This logistically complex project involves work in key areas of H&S, volunteer management, logistics, resource sourcing and management, volunteer and staff training, customer service & conflict management.The Shindig - Child.org's annual supporter engagement/donor thanking event. Each year this involves an exhibition of our work (with related comms and design); venue finding and negotiation; logistics management; volunteer management; organising the guest list; sourcing & managing entertainment, food & drink; and organising talks on the night. I led the management of it in 2016 and 2017.Spectacular Pub Quizzes - these regular, immersive pub quizzes involved venue liaison; managing volunteers actors, and quizmasters; sourcing resources and prizes; marketing and managing ticket sales.

This role included developing the pilot for our 'Charity Concierge' project at Latitude Festival - designing and planning the project as well as managing 100 volunteers prior to and during the event. I also managed grant applications for a number of the projects run by Child.org, and built corporate partnerships for fundraising.

In this role I have the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of the organisation, including marketing the Charity Apprentice course to universities and coordinating volunteers and events related to this.

Recruiting and managing a team of 20 volunteer safety stewards whose role is to help, guide and advise customers around the festival, as well as encouraging them to behave responsibly in a positive and friendly way. Key responsibilities- Health and safety of customers and staff- Hazard awareness- Customer conflict management- Logistics management & problem solving

Setting up training courses; management of attendance; assistance in elements of training course; meeting and greeting.

This role primarily involved researching, processing and administering payments to the multiple charities supported by this organisation. Due to the nature of the work, I gained a real insight into the different charities out there, the benefits of different approaches to education and the sorts of problems encountered by charities, particularly in the international sphere.

Order taking and processing; order tracking; discount negotiation; customer complaints and problem solving; purchasing; sales mail-shots; managing the post in and out; payment chasing and processing; stock control; order picking and packing, shipping labels, invoicing; maintaining order daybooks; training and supervising new temporary staff; keeping the office and warehouse clean and functional.

Supervisory roles such as training new staff; running the floor team on busy daytimes; dealing with customer complaints; setting up and opening in the morning.Waitressing and bar work; closing down (including cleaning and restocking fridges); waitressing for private functions and running the private bar.
