Prior to this position I had never worked behind a bar, within three months I was promoted to team leader. I already had customer service experience from working previous jobs. Riverside Farm helped me to develop a lot of my core and management skills. I worked weekends and holidays at Costa whilst studying A-levels. I began working here part time whilst still also working part time at the cafe and still being in full time education. Responsiblities included ensuring the cafe is fully stocked including stock rotation, making hot drinks, cash handling, customer service, as well as clearing and cleaning of pots/workspaces. I left this job as I had two jobs simultaneously and decided to cut down to focus on my exams at that time.
