In this role I was required to manage end-to-end operations and logistics for high profile public policy events ranging from 50 - 1000 delegates. Coordinate work of mutliple teams to deliver internal event programme as well as large client-led event portfolio. Manage three permenant staff and over 20 casual staff including allocation of work, training and payroll. Assist the finance director to maintain budget control across all events. Prepare events to be 'broadcast ready' for live web streaming.

Annually managing approx 60 events including renowned national client-led conferences, exhibitions, breakfast briefings, drinks receptions, award ceremonies, dinners and regional networking hubs. The majority of events have an accompanying exhibition, the largest of which was a shell build of 80 stands. I was required to produce all documents relating to the exhibition including exhibitor manual, floorplans, RAMS and Health and Safety and manage the build on-site. I have extensive experience of event operational tasks including compiling and proofing event collateral, design and print process, stage management, abstract submission, programme planning, speaker requisition and liaison, travel, accommodation, financial and evaluation reporting.

Supported by the RCN, I took a six week sabbatical to work alongside the event manager at one of the Treasure Houses of England, Burghley House. Helping to deliver their winter calendar of events, I worked on their inaugral Essential Weddings Show in collaboration with Essential Media Events, a festive fine food market, a Christmas concert and three weddings.
