Hello! My name is Holly Parks and I am from Plymouth, Massachusetts. I recently graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Film, Television, and Media Arts, with a minor in Advertising and Integrated Communications. Film and television have always been ingrained in my family traditions, and the strong connection I have with these visual mediums is why I decided to work toward a degree in this area. Creating films has been a passion of mine ever since the beginning of high school when I took part in a Graphic Design and Visual Communications vocational-technical program. For four years, I learned the Adobe editing software, and how to use equipment that has become a standard for the industry today. The program gave me the opportunity to show my work to others, and even to win an award. At Quinnipiac, I had the opportunity to be an Associate Producer for Q30 Television's entertainment show Quinnipiac Tonight, and I was able to secure an internship with Film Haven Productions based in West Haven CT, and with the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences where my passion for the film and television industries has continued to grow. I ended my college career by creating a short film with a group of my peers, that will soon be entered into festivals. I am excited to enter the industry, and to keep creating!
