Continuing on from my previous role I am involved in heading up with the management and coordination of the large scale business development project of extending and developing the current museum site. This project is anticipated to develop a museum which is innovative and state of the art as well as bringing a crucial community, arts and cultural heritage focal point to the North of England.I also manage the historic Collection at the museum. Typically with independent museums I take on multiple roles on a regular basis, managing the Museum collections as well as being involved in exhibition design, long term development, events and cultivating the visitor experience. I am continuing in my work in standardising and establishing new, consistent and up-to-date procedures and documentation for the Museum and it's Collections, in line with Spectrum 5.0. I am also involved in heading up the museum in it's efforts to achieve official Accreditation, with the aim to accomplish this by 2023.

I am primarily involved in the management of the historic Collection at the museum as well as daily operations and events management. Typically with independent museums I take on multiple roles on a regular basis, managing the Museum collections as well as being involved in exhibition design, staff management and general day to day management (including management of the gift shop, coffee shop, front of house, volunteers and professional and inter-organisational relationships). My current projects are standardising and establishing new, consistent and up-to-date procedures and documentation for the Museum and it's Collections, in line with Spectrum 5.0. I am also involved in heading up the museum in it's efforts to achieve official Accreditation, with the aim to accomplish this by 2023.

This was a position which ended prematurely due to finding paid employment which was full time.The role involved delivering community engagement projects, attending events and representing the city's museums, networking to deliver engagement with various business, organisations and charities. This was a hybrid role working with both volunteers and paid staff members.I worked for a time on a project related to Dementia and Alzheimers in creating an arts and culture installation which was driven by a desire to tackle taboos such as death and loss whilst highlighting accessibility beyond the physical.

This role involved general retail work with significant targets at a flagship store. Visual merchandising had to be on-brand, on-trend and visually appealing as well as compete with other stores in the immediate vicinity. I worked within a small team in a new store and as a whole we ensured great results. This role involved ensuring the team was highly efficient, that we maintained our sales figures, reached regional and national targets, achieved a high level of visitor experience and proved we were worth it. My role involved team management, sales, merchandising, data input, stock control, relationship management, brand representation and visitor communication skills.

This role involved sales at a small store within a larger centre. During my time at Ben Sherman I became trained in basic men's tailoring as well as sales at a higher level. The role involved team management, goal/target orientated work, data input, stock management, opening/closing duties, cash flow, finance management, visitor experience relationship management and daily store duties.

I worked in assisting the curatorial team in developing a child-focused exhibition at the museum. As part of this I was involved in researching, drafting labels, selecting graphics, organising object selection, contributing to overall design. I also assisted in museum standard cataloging, documenting, object conservation and care, marking and labelling, packing and store operations.
