Having completed my Business Management degree with an upper second at Lancaster University, I am now in the process of completing my PGCE with the University of Cumbria, specialising in primary education. By July 2024 I will be a fully qualified teacher ready to endeavour in my ECT teaching years. I am a passionate and well-driven individual who continuously tests my potential and challenges myself. I thrive in environments where creativity, collaboration as well as independence and, resilience are at the forefront of my work. My learning journey has equipped me with expertise in behavioural strategies, pedagogy, the key stage one and two national curriculum and how to successfully implement adaptive teaching to progress students learning. My commitment to excellence is evident in my classroom and teaching strategies to enable me to ensure students are engaged within the curriculum content while being respectful to myself and their peers. One of my essays during my PGCE was focused on the importance of student engagement to understand their learning and through this I have grasped many important concepts and strategies to ensure students remain engaged throughout the day.I am eager to continue on this learning journey, broadening my knowledge on strategies and sharing insights and ideas with like-minded individuals.
