Design Assistant for the award winning publishing company Touch Press. Holly has worked on iPad apps such as War Horse, Leonardo Da Vinci: Anatomy, Orchestra, Barefoot World Atlas, and the Future Book Innovation Award Winner and voted Apple’s Best App 2013 Disney Animated.

Latest production manager role included the following tasks - Arranged large crew and kit to fly to Milan, organized accommodation, travel and food. Interviewed clients and the public at a large four day gaming event. Holly has worked on projects for the BBC, Science Museum and Dunnhumby.

Designed a number of products to sell at London markets such as Spitalfields and Brick Lane Backyard market, East London. Products included T-Shirts, bags, cards and artwork.

Researched and completed a proposal for Dartington Hall with curator Gareth Ballyn. More information coming soon.

West End Day Trip was a successful visual art and social enterprise project based in the West End of Plymouth, UK, curated by Gareth Ballyn. The aim was to get NEET (Not in education, employment or training) students into the creative world by teaching workshops which included working with archive imagery and line drawings based on the West End of Plymouth. An art guide and website of the best breakfast spots in East London. 38 Artists and creative writers were involved in producing the guide. Holly was chosen to represent the Railroad Café in Hackney.

Community Art Project based in Paignton, South Devon, funded by Arts Council England. Artist Holly Smith and curator Gareth Ballyn have worked with several local organisations including Torbay Arts Development, ROC Creative and shopkeepers on Winner Street to celebrate the area.

Sourcing/booking crew, locations and kit, managed studio and editing suites. Built strong relationships with clients such as the BBC, The Science Museum and Teachers Television. Engaging with contributors, completing paper work, for example risk assessments/release forms/location agreements/complicated call sheets. Worked towards very tight deadlines.
