I am currently on a graduate programme working on a project for the M&S Bank. I received extensive training prior to working independently on the cases that are provided to me. I received extensive training prior to working independently on the cases that are provided to me. I am working as a consultant in the PPI department. On investigating a case and taking into consideration all the evidence gathered, I then make an informed decision as to the way forward with that client. On a daily basis I use complex computer software including CHRYS and advanced Excel. I communicate my decisions with the client with structured letter writing using Microsoft Word and where necessary telephone communication. Data input and research are vital to the final decision that I make for each case. Research includes reading through fine detailed information and highlighting relevant facts. Adherence to the Data Protection Act must be maintained at all times. As part of my training I am competent in dealing with vulnerable clients who may have additional needs. I have to comply with security procedures each time I speak to a client to ensure the prevention of fraud and the protection of confidential data. Following weekly one to one meetings with my line manager I have received excellent feedback that I am exceeding all targets and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Show less

Working a variety of different shifts, I worked part time on the Patisserie counter. My role involved the preparation of the counter, serving customers, ensuring documentation is up to date daily and cashing up.

My main job was working on the checkout serving customers and providing excellent customer service at all times. I would put stock out to make sure the shelves were full at all times. I also ensured that the store looked clean and tidy and that it was free of hazards. Sometimes I would help my manager cash up at the end of the day.

I volunteered at Australia zoo, 2 days a week. This involved various tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the animal enclosures, advising and helping the public around the zoo, answering their questions about the animals and assisting at the main show with crowd control. I also helped with their ‘zoo keeper for a day’ program. This involved taking the children on a tour around the zoo and teaching them about the various animals. I worked part time as a sales assistant. My role was divided between attending the fitting rooms, maintaining stock levels on the shop floor, assisting customers where necessary, working the tills, ensuring departments were tidy and free of hazards and providing excellent customer service at all times.
